Unique
Such a unique and fun little stay, my wife, kids and I had an amazing time. Super clean, comfortable beds, kids loved slide. The location safe and quiet area but a quick drive into asheville. Other guests were far enough away that it felt private. Not a lot of traffic. Hot tub was pristine and has a nice privacy fence around it right outside the dome. Owners quick to answer questions. Highly recommend staying here! Nothing else like it. We'd love to come back here again.
peaceful place
My husband and I were some of your first guests when you had the red yurt by the river in 2011 or 2012 right when you first built it. We had such great memories there and were sad to see it is no longer one of your rentals. We have two kids now and wanted to take them on their first glamping trip. Your domes have been on our list since you built them. Our oldest could not believe the slide. We caught fireflies at night (we have never seen so many) and made new memories around the campfire. We'll try to not let another decade pass before visiting again!
Family vacation
This is definitely not a house, I went in with the mindset that it would be more like camping and it was even better than we expected. They delivered everything promised, Joanna and Patrick clearly love what they do. The dome was just like in the photos and immaculately clean. We had 4 adults and 2 kids in our dome and it was the perfect size. Our 6 and 9 year old were crazy about the slide. Clean bathroom and shower and the hot tub water was just changed when we got there- not sure if that is always the case but as someone who is weary of hot tubs at vacation rentals in general this one was pristine. Make sure to bring plenty of firewood. Ingles sold it but we were shocked by how expensive the little bundles were! We would definitely come back and recommend.
Fall
Our rental fell through, so we decided to try glamping and booked last minute—it turned out to be awesome. Enjoyed the hot tub!
2024 family vacation
First time glamping, and it was a great experience. We stayed at the dome with the yellow slide, and we had a nice space inside and out, the beds were comfortable and it was nice for us to have a separate bedroom from the kids sleeping area in the loft. The fire pit and hot tub were nice to have. Everything was very clean! Access to the river was convenient just up the road as was downtown. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. Thanks and we will visit again!
Birthday stay
We had an absolute blast celebrating my son’s 10th birthday at the Ultimate Slide Dome at Asheville Glamping! 🎉 My son and his two friends were thrilled from start to finish. The highlight of the trip for the kids was definitely the giant slide. The boys spent hours racing each other. We personally spent a lot of time in the hot tub which was great. The dome itself was a hit too. It was cozy and my husband and appreciated the closed off bedroom downstairs which made it much more relaxing for us than an open set up would have been with so many kids. The property itself is also lovely! Overall, it was a fantastic way to celebrate and create some amazing memories.
Ultimate
I was super nervous about coming to the Ultimate Slide Dome alone with my three kids under 10. My husband couldn't make the trip and none of my friends were available. I almost didn't come, but I'm SO glad I decided to go for it. We ended up making some of the best memories ever! The dome was absolutely perfect. It was so comfortable inside, and the glamping property is incredibly peaceful and private. If I had a hot tub and a private bathroom like this at home, I swear I could go camping every week! My kids were using the slide non-stop. They couldn't get enough of it, and honestly, I even managed to squeeze through once or twice. It was a blast! The whole place was just amazing, and it made our little adventure without Dad so special.
fantastic
What a fantastic place. The dome was fantastic, perfect balance of comfort and rustic. We chose this dome because it has both an indoor bathroom and a hot tub...and of course the slide. Everything was immaculately clean when we arrived. The site is so beautiful with a small pond in front of the dome. We loved the site so much that we chose to spend an entire day playing and relaxing on site while enjoying the hot tub. The dome was very comfortable with plenty if space to relax even with two adults and three children sleeping in it.

Great family trip
What a fantastic place to spend a weekend in asheville. The dome tent was fully equiped. Fridge, AC, bathroom, lights and outletsOutside there was a firepit and grill along with the hot tub that we got plenty of use out of. Very nice property.All in all we can highly recommend this experience and our kids are still talking about it a week later
