This is a truly unique family vacation experience. The kids loved the dome and the loft for sleeping. Obviously the slide was the main attraction. I am happy to report we did not miss the tv but the kids did bring their iPad and were able to stream. We would definitely recommend for a family vacation.
Our church group came to volunteer in the area, and we were so lucky to discover this magical dome as our basecamp for the week. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The dome was the perfect mix of comfort and charm—spacious enough for our team to gather, yet cozy enough for everyone to feel at home after a long day of volunteering. We might not have used the awesome slide, but the fire pit offered a much-needed place to retreat at the end of each day. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness made our stay even more memorable. We truly felt like we were in a home away from home, and it was the ideal spot to recharge and bond as a team. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
Staying at the Slide Dome at Asheville Glamping was such a cool experience! The dome itself is super unique and definitely added a special touch to our Asheville visit. It looks just like the photos—everything is clean and well-kept and the pull out couches were surprisingly comfortable. The only thing to note is that the restroom trailer is a short walk away, but it’s definitely worth it. It’s also kept in great shape. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a memorable stay in the area!
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and appreciate you coming! Joanna and Patrick

We stayed in the Slide Dome with our family, and my sister and her husband stayed in the deluxe bell tent. We all had a fantastic time! The kids loved the indoor slide, and we all enjoyed the beautiful sunrise views and the fire pit. The owners were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Tips to make your stay perfect: bring firewood, it's pricey at the grocery store. Also bring plenty of water in the summer. We live in SC so my husband brought a truck full of firewood and we went through almost all of it - we left the rest for the next guests to enjoy. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing getaway!
We've checked glamping off our bucket list! I've been following Asheville Glamping on instagram since before we were married and I have always wanted to rent one of these domes! Our daughter just turned five and we came here to celebrate her birthday with my in-laws. Such a fun trip! Of course she could not get enough of the slide! Thank you for creating such a fun experience
One of the more adventurous stays our family has planned. We had a blast!Planning a return trip for our anniversary for just the two of us
We loved this Dome and our kids were obsessed with the slide! It is such a beautifully constructed structure and the dome shape let’s you play sound tricks (stand behind the table and talk). We went in late June so it was definitely hot during the day but the AC kept it cool in the evening. We were close enough to everything to easily go into Asheville for food and hike. Loved the town of hot springs. I would 100% stay here again probably stay a little longer. Make sure you bring paper plates/utensils for grilling and firewood for the firepit.
Had the best time in this Dome celebrating my 30th birthday with my sister and best friends - highly recommend Asheville Glamping!
