Currently accepting bookings for our 2020 season-  March 1st to November 20th. We are seasonal from March 1st to November 20th.

If you have your heart set on a weekend we recommend booking at least 4 months in advance for our 2020 season, which is now open for bookings in March 2020 and beyond.

Please note that you must enter in at least 2 nights into the Search Dates fields in order to see availability as all of our sites have a two night minimum stay-  You must enter 3 nights when searching on holiday weekends as holidays require a 3 night minimum stay. Example: If you enter in one night it will appear as if nothing is open (like check in June 1 and check out June 2) you must change the check out date one or more days beyond the check in date in order to see openings. We accept one night bookings only when there is a one night gap between two other reservations. If you'd like to book a single night just check the availability calendar to find them.

Our Deluxe  star dome has been so popular that we've added this smaller version! This Dome is a bit larger than Dome 1, but along with  the bay window it also features an amazing clear roof, curtains for the bay windows offer privacy and the clear roof offers an incredible star gazing experience right from the comfort of their queen sized memory foam bed!

This site has air-conditioning along with a mini fridge, lights and a power strip with outlets. There is a Queen bed and 2 indoor chairs for lounging- with the same set up as Dome 1 aside from the bay window (only the clear star gazing roof and some round windows).

This site is dog friendly. No dogs may be left inside the dome without their owner, so please understand if you choose to bring your fur baby that they will have to adventure with you during the day as leaving them inside the dome is not an option.

Just across from shared fire pit and shared rustic bath houses with real toilets and hot showers.

*NOTE HOLIDAY WEEKENDS REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY AND INCLUDE MEMORIAL DAY, 4TH OF JULY, AND LABOR DAY WEEKENDS, if you enter in two dates during this time period the search will show no results, you must enter 3 nights to see results over the holiday weekends.

*****Note we do not allow bug spray or aerosol to be sprayed inside the dome as it destroys the vinyl. You will be charged if insect repellent or any  aerosol or spray of any kind is used on the dome skin or windows.

Million Stars!

Such a beautiful space! My boyfriend and I had the best weekend disconnecting from all the craziness! We found out about you from Kaitlyn Bristowe and I'm so so glad we did. We've already had so many people asking about where we stayed and can't wait to come back with friends.

A beautiful Dome owned by lovely people who truly care about your comfort and well being. Our honeymoon in Mexico was cancelled and we were so happy to find this amazing pace! My husband and I had a wonderful time here after snagging a last minute cancellation. This is a great location for going on hikes trips to the mountains or to the river. We had plenty to do even though most normal places were closed down in town- we even got carry out from the glass onion and enjoyed eating it around the campfire. Thank you for making our honeymoon feel so special!

Glamping life

My husband and I love camping and came across you guys in a magazine article- I’m so glad we found you! The star dome was the perfect place to spend the weekend and unlike anything either of us has ever experienced! I appreciated have a “normal” toilet and even through it was shared, it felt like our private bathroom because it was so close (and there was never anyone using it). It was cold when we visited but we slept like babies under the heated blanket - which was AHMAZING! So were the stars- the moon was just a sliver so it was very dark and there were a million stars. The bed was very comfortable as well. Our favorite places we visited in Asheville were the Asheville pinball museum ( SO much fun!), Asheville pizza company, the Grove Park Inn, and Biscuit head...try the mimosa fried chicken biscuit!! Thank you for a great visit!

Our Igloo :)

This was actually our 2nd visit to Asheville Glamping and our first dome trip (we stayed at the silver bettie four years ago so it's been awhile! I can't believe how much you guys have grown!). We LOVED dome 5! My brother in law and his wife also stayed at camp over the weekend with their two kids at the Safari tent and we all had a great time. We had booked our stay at the perfect time for peak leaves and it was gorgeous in the mountains. Highly recommend hiking up at graveyard fields and Craggy gardens- though it was too cold to swim, there is an awesome shallow swimming hole at graveyard fields. We appreciated being close to the bath house, our own fridge, and the amazing clear roof that pushed us over the edge to book this site! We are already looking at dates to come back next May!

We loved our time here

Had one of the best weekends of my life here at Asheville Glamping! We rented 3 domes for my cousins bachelorette party and it was perfect. I was hesitant with she told us we were going Glamping as I'm not much of a camper, but Dome 5 was perfect. Most of the girls shared beds, but I splurged to have my own spot and had this entire bed to myself. The inside is decorated so nicely and the heat kept me super warm even though it was 38 degrees on our second night. There was also a heated blanket, but I didn't need to use it. It's also just a very short walk away from the bathrooms which were rustic but very clean. Your place is absolutely beautiful. It is very natural, rustic and charming plus the stars were beautiful at night through the roof! I didn't want to leave and I'm recommending you guys to all our friends!

Giving it all the stars!

Very much in love with our little dome away from home. My girlfriend and I spent two nights here and can not say enough good things! The dome is SO cute! Our bed was more comfy than our one at home and stargazing from bed was beyond words special. Even our corgi “Mr. Charles” loved it and gives dome 5 two paws up! 🐾

No place like dome

thank you for creating such a fun space. We had a great time getting out of Charlotte for a couple of days and loved the star gazing dome! ✨

Special and Unique

This is the most special and unique place I’ve ever stayed in and I’m so glad we chose one of the star gazing domes! My husband and I have had a really difficult year with job changes and moving to a new state. This was the perfect way to decompress and enjoy some stress free time together. If you are a technology junky you might hate this experience, there’s no television or wifi. For us not having those things was a huge plus- allowing us to actually be in the moment for once. (There is cell service, but we opted to keep our phones OFF the entire weekend aside from using them for directions!- highly recommend doing the same) Now for the star gazing roof, it’s better than a skylight, as it’s nearly the entire ceiling and definitely makes for a romantic experience. We read other reviews recommending the star app, but we stuck to our “tech detox” and just enjoyed them the old fashioned way. Can’t really think of any cons other than the fact that it’s impossible to sleep in late with a clear roof 😂 We actually tried to stay a third night but it was already booked :( Highly recommend this experience to adventure loving folks!

Way to camp

We loved our time here. I had originally wanted to book another dome before I realized there was literally no availability left- managed to snag a weekend here right when it opened for bookings. The star gazing was amazing. This was also probably the most social we've ever been on vacation because we ended up meeting some awesome folks staying at one of the trailers and had a fire with them on both nights of our stay! Highly recommend and we already booked dome 2 for next year so we'll see you again soon!

Can not say enough about our stay!

We loved this beautiful dome and had such a wonderful time here with our dogs! The property is beautiful, the dome overlooks fields and greenery, and we stuffed ourselves with wild blackberries! The real show started at night though and I highly recommend that you download the star app for your stay. We spotted both Jupiter and Saturn through the clear roof of the star dome - without the app, I honestly would have just though they were very bright stars- but the app tells you exactly what they are, you just point your phone up at the sky!! Also identified some constellations- would be amazing to stay here during a meteor shower. There is no light pollution around the property so star gazing is AMAZING! The bed was very comfortable and the property was quiet (we were here on a Tuesday and Wednesday) If we are ever in Asheville again we will definitely be back!
