Dome 4- Sleeps 2

2nd trip to Asheville Glamping and this will not be our last. We came for the first time 3 years ago when there were only a couple of sites on this property, and only one dome. It's incredible to see how much work you guys have done in such a short period of time! The last time we stayed we rented the big top tent (which I don't think exists anymore) - this time we chose this dome because seriously...clear roof? We had a 5 MILLION STAR EXPERIENCE! Perfect in every way. I really hope it's not another 3 years before our next visit, but we can't wait to see what you guys do next...especially curious to know what you guys are building down by the pond!!!!

We stayed here for three nights and had such a nice time. My husband is not a camper, but he loved glamping! The dome had everything we needed (especially air conditioning, a fridge, and electricity! Emphasis on the AC because that was a must for us). The hot tub was pristine and we used it all three nights. Obviously star gazing inside the tent was the highlight of our stay and why we picked this particular dome. It's such a cool idea and we look forward to making this an annual trip!

I rented Dome 4 to celebrate my best friends last getaway together before she becomes a mother this summer! I myself left my own little with his dad so the two of us could celebrate this milestone together. The Dome was the perfect place for us! Though my preggo companion could not, I myself did enjoy spending some time in the lovely hot tub at night! She appreciated having the indoor toilet as she has to pee often (baby on the bladder!) and was thrilled to not have to walk to get to a bathroom. Other highlights of our stay were visiting the Salt cave downtown and getting some body work/massage at sensibilities where my friends husband gifted her a wonderful maternity massage and I got my very first foot massage (which was heavenly!) Food at Mela and Early Girl downtown was also so very yummy. We did also really want to go to Biscuit head on the Sunday we were leaving, but we didn't have time to wait out the long line- just another reason to come back! The property is beautiful and this is such a cool place! My daughter now can not stop talking about us coming to stay in the Dome 3, which she is calling the "Slide Igloo!"

Dome 4 was just what we needed for a very relaxing and peaceful getaway! The eco friendly bathroom inside the dome was a huge plus! We were there on hottest weekend we have had so far and the AC in the dome was perfect!! The fireflies lighting everything up while we relaxed in the hot tub just seemed magical!! And where do I even begin with how awesome Joanna was during our photoshoot!!! She is so talented and just an awesome person. We loved meeting her!! ❤ everything about this trip was "dreamy"!!!

I think your calendar will be full for the rest of the year with all of our friends and family coming to stay! We had the best time- when we arrived on our first night there were half a dozen cows in the field behind the dome and two of their babies. Minutes later bunnies were running across the lawn. We were instantly relaxed when we drove onto the property! My husband and I were both worried it would be hot inside the dome because it was over 80 degrees out but the AC kept the dome very cool! We even switched it to heat at night as it got a little chilly- we were always comfortable. My husband is a type a planner and he scheduled this trip to line up with the april Lyrid meteor shower (had to get the most out of the star dome experience!). I’ll say this- my husband has tried to drag me outside at least a dozen times in our relationship- in the middle of the night to see meteor showers...and this was the first time I didn’t mind one bit because we were watching the shower right from bed! It was amazing! I think it would be incredible on any clear night...but if you can make it here during a meteor shower window then you should!!! We got a chance to talk with the owners and they gave us a tour of the property and let us in on a few secret projects they have not announced yet...we can’t wait to come back!

I am so glad we rented this dome when the calendar first opened up this winter! When we booked there were no pictures of the dome because it wasn’t done being built. We were a little reluctant to book without photos, but were assured it would have the same set up as dome 2. Turns out it’s even more amazing! The headboard is beautiful and we loved the layout with the half bath/privacy wall. We were among the very first guests so everything is brand new. The hot tub is hidden behind the dome and completely private. It dropped into the low teens at night during our stay and the heated blanket kept us nice and warm... but the most incredible thing was laying in bed and watching the stars! Both nights we stayed were completely clear and it was easily one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever had. I’ve recommended Asheville Glamping to all our friends and can’t wait to come back!
