Please note that you must enter in at least two nights into the Search Dates fields in order to see availability. Example: If you enter in one night it will appear as if nothing is open (like check in June 1 and check out June 2) you must change the check out date one or more days beyond the check in date in order to see openings.

Note: in 2020 the interior of the glaminal will be painted white and a new dining table will be going in to replace the exisiting dinette :)

We are so excited to offer our 1952 Royal Spartanette, dubbed "Glaminal" to our guests. This beautiful Vintage Trailer sleeps four comfortably and is family friendly.

We coined the word "Glaminal" while we were living full time in one of our Spartan vintage trailers. Glaminal = Glamping Animal! The Glaminal lives up to its name by offering guests :

-Cold AC

-Comfy Queen bed

-Comfy pull out futon

-Two televisions to play DVD's- one in the living room and one in the bedroom

-Collection of awesome DVD's to watch

-A full kitchen to cook meals with vintage appliances

-Private shower inside the trailer w regular toilet outside inside the shared bath house (*no toilet inside- please use rustic bath house just outside of trailer with real toilet and hot shower, we do not use the vintage indoor toilet).

Come relax and get your Glamp on while staying in this gorgeous polished vintage trailer!

This site sits on our 15 acre property

Cool trailer and nice property

Wife and I loved our time spent at the Glaminal. Trailer was clean and had everything we needed to cook on the propane stove. Heaters came in handy on some cool nights and kept the trailer comfortable. We'll definitely be back in the spring-thanks!

Great time

My husband and I both work from home in DC and were in need dire need of a change of scenery. I found cheap flights to Asheville and we booked a last minute stay at Asheville Glamping during the week. We were expecting fall weather but they were having a heat wave in Asheville and it was in the mid NINETIES every day of our stay. So not exactly the cool fallish trip we were hoping for. Thankfully the Glaminal had air conditioning or we would have been in trouble. The trailer is awesome! It was beautiful, cute inside, and clean. The original appliances are adorable and we cooked breakfast every morning on the propane stove. Just make sure you remember to turn the burners off! My husband noticed I had left one on after cooking our first day (smelled it). Clearly I’m not used to cooking with gas. Camp is so nice, quiet, and beautiful. We enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning and using the fire pit at night. Awesome place and we highly recommend!

Simpler Times

Somehow this was our first camping trip as a family and It was wonderful! The property is beautiful and the trailer felt spacious and was very comfortable. Loved the vintage decor and retro appliances. Tips for parents: I had not realized the trailer had a tv with a DVD player so we were able to pick up some Redbox movies for the kids which let us enjoy some adult campfire time. I would not recommend it to people who are very tall (over 6'4 maybe) as my husband is 6'1 and he was fine, but any taller might be uncomfortable lol...this is probably normal, but we've never been in a camper. There's a coffee maker so make sure you bring coffee and cream (we forgot and I was too exhausted to run back out to the grocery store until our second day- clearly we are glamping amateurs- so learn from our mistake!) We've had our eye on Dome 3 and are talking about coming back for a weekend next year before they are all booked- looks awesome!

Great getaway

We spent a couple of nights in this beautiful trailer with our 8 year old son and it was perfect for us. Adventurous and fun, but without roughing it. We chose this trailer because we wanted to be able to cook our own food. Our son has several food allergies that make eating out a hassle on a good day and dangerous if mistakes are made on a bad day. Loved the vintage appliances! Also appreciated the private indoor shower inside the trailer and the bathroom area for privacy and getting ready. The outdoor toilet is just two steps away so it's very convenient. I completely forgot that this trailer also had a DVD player or we would have brought a few of our sons movies with us - they do have a stock pile of DVD's, but mostly adult picks (not complaining btw!). Bed was more comfortable than our bed at home and my husband went to bed before eleven both nights for the first time in as long as I can remember :) We lucked out with good weather and loved hanging out around the fire pit and relaxing. Also highly recommend hiking on the mountains to sea trail- we were looking for an easier hike without a lot of climbing and the section from the folk art center was kid approved! Hope to come back with friends- thank you!

Bucket List check!

We have been talking about living in an airstream all year. My fiancé suggested we do a "test run" at Asheville Glamping before investing in our own trailer- just to see what it was like. It was....awesome! Although this trailer is a lot larger than others we have looked at to live in so I think now we'll start looking for something bigger...because honestly this was just the right size to not feel claustrophobic. The bedroom area is super comfortable and when our friends stayed with us on our last night we still felt like we had some level of privacy as it's on the opposite end of the camper. The full kitchen was appreciated (one of the major reasons we chose this site) as we didn't want to go out to eat during our stay. We mostly hung on the property, which is beautiful. During the day most of the other guests were in town so we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. This site has a huge fire pit that is shared by the other sites in the trailer corral. It was nice to be able to meet the other guests staying and we all ended up "touring" each others trailers. This was definitely the most unique and fun lodging experience we have ever had!

Beautiful trailer!

My husband and I can’t stop talking about our visit. Your property is beautiful and the Trailer is just like the long long trailer from I love Lucy! We found Asheville Glamping after one of our friends posted about their stay and this was actually a last minute trip. I’m so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel! I’ve already booked the tree house for next year. My only suggestion would be to leave instructions for how to use the cooktop- we didn’t realize it was propane until we called and I think maybe not many people are familiar with how they work.
