Go Glamping in a luxuriously spacious 31 ft vintage trailer with a four person HOT TUB! We remodeled this gorgeous 1955 vintage trailer with a modern kitchen, tiled bathroom shower with amazing water pressure, a bedroom with a memory foam mattress and living room w/futon. There is air conditioning to keep it nice and cool in the summer and heat to keep your tootsies toasty in the winter!

The cabinets are stocked with dishes and cookware and there is a propane cooktop to prepare meals on. The trailer has a dvd player if you want to bring or purchase DVD's.

The Silver Bettie remains one of Asheville Glamping's most popular vintage trailer rentals :).

Outside there is a fire pit.

***The Bold Print: This glampsite is located on our 3 acre urban property where deluxe bell tent #1 is also located. This was our first property when we started camp and it  is in a very urban area. To put it plainly: The drive in to get to our property is  flat out ugly. The trailer is cute and it's totally safe- Though we've had hundreds of happy guests here-  please Read about this property vs our Rural property under the "Location" section at the top of our FAQ BEFORE booking Here

Understand that we  have two completely different properties - this urban location where the Silver Bettie and Deluxe bell tent 1 is and our larger rural location.

There are no pets allowed at this site. Pets are allowed at Dome 1 and Dome 5 only. Please read our booking policies for full pet policy details.

*NOTE HOLIDAY WEEKENDS REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY AND INCLUDE MEMORIAL DAY, 4TH OF JULY, AND LABOR DAY WEEKENDS, if you enter in two dates during this time period the search will show no results, you must enter 3 nights to see results over the holiday weekends.

HEY YOU!!!! YES YOU! READ OUR FAQ BEFORE BOOKING! This is required reading :) Our FAQ describes our cancellation policy along with exactly what we offer so you can arrive with accurate expectations. If you don't want to read it- don't book :-D

Loved this trailer!

We stayed in this trailer while into town for a spartan race and had a fantastic time! The trailer is beautiful inside and we loved the retro details, turquoise appliances, and “normal” bathroom. The hot tub was pristine, the bed was super comfy, and it was just a 5 minute drive into downtown. We highly recommend!

Silver Bettie

Asheville Glamping has been on my North Carolina bucket list. We drove 10 hours from Chicago to Asheville. We booked the Bettie since we wanted A/C and a private bathroom and shower. (Not all of the rentals have an indoor or private bathroom). The trailer was surprisingly large and roomy! It has two separate sleeping areas: The back bedroom where my boyfriend and I slept and the front area with the futon "living room" area where our two friends slept. Theres a little door to the back bedroom if you want to separate it (it's like a bi-fold type door). The fridge was adorable! But note that it is vintage which means the freezer part is not really meant to be used. I don't know why you'd be bringing frozen food glamping though! It was awesome for keeping our beer and left overs nice and cool (we didn't cook, but there is a stove inside the trailer and all the dishes/pans/etc). This was a fun trip and we were all super happy to stay here. The only negative thing about our stay was that it rained and we could not use the wood we bought to have a campfire. Left it for the next guests and hope they got to use it! This property is just 5 miles from downtown so we appreciated being able to drive back and forth quickly. Recommend Isis music hall for dinner and live music and biscuit head on Haywood rod (2 miles from the trailer) Hope to make it back to stay in the new treehouse on the bigger property!

All the retro love

Just left after spending three nights at the Bettie while visiting our daughter at UNCA. This trailer was the perfect jumping off point to all our adventures. We loved all the vintage details in the trailer- I've already been scouring ebay for those boomerang glasses and the little friar salt and pepper shakers! The indoor bathroom was a must for my over active bladder and didn't feel cramped. It was nice to come back and relax with Netflix at night or a soak in the hot tub. We did run out of propane on our second night, but the owners responded to our call immediately and had a new tank delivered in under an hour. The drive in was as described but once we arrived this was a sweet little oasis. We are making plans to come back when we visit again this fall!

Glamping from a camping POV

We are avid primitive campers, so leaving the kids at home and staying in an old travel trailer was an odd decision for us. With a history of working in vintage and antiques, this was a obvious choice. We celebrated our 19th year together here, as it was a V Day gift. I took a long Saturday afternoon nap, watched a nested hawk watch for prey, and listening to the sounds my favorite organic artists made my Saturday fly by. I want to return! Tons of great restaurants and natural stores nearby, PS, abundant wild Plantains on the property, soak them in virgin olive oil!

Bettie was good to us

Came here with two of my friends and we had a great time. The Bettie was a short drive to anything in town. The hot tub was the perfect way to end our evenings and the site has its own fire pit. The biggest plus, I think, was having a real bathroom and shower inside the trailer- it's pretty nice and unexpected in a camper. Recommend and we didn't want to leave!

Great stay

I had a great time staying at the silver bettie. It was close to Asheville and the trailer itself was amazing inside. We also liked having the hot tub which we used every night. I am definitely coming back
